Actually the idea of opening a blog belongs to Ronja. She shared her idea with me (Betül) and we started to find a blog name. One of the things that came to my mind was "Broken Waves". Because we both have read "All The Bright Places" by Jennifer Niven, and in that book there are a lot of quotes from "The Waves" by Virgina Woolf. I have read The Waves and the last sentence of the book is
"The waves broke on the shore."
I love that sentence so much so I thought of that name. And we loved it. But then Ronja remembered this quote from All The Bright Places;
"Beautiful is a beautiful word that should be used more often" - Finch
And she said we must use the word "beautiful" in our blog name. So we created the blog's name;
"Beautiful Broken Waves."
